I've been to a lot of mechanics in my time and I've even liked a few of them, but Marqueen might just be my favorite. I never dread taking my car there. I always feel confident that I'm going to be taken care of and get a fair deal. They are great! Having great people like Nate and Diana really make this place what it is. It's got a very friendly neighborhood vibe and I'm glad to be a customer.

I have been going to Marqueen Garage for over 18 years. While Kurt is no longer the owner, the service is still as honest, forthright, and as amazing as ever! They always make time for the services I need for my car and are never condescending or rude. And being a woman who knows nothing about cars, that is a huge deal in of itself!I have been through 2 cars with them and have always received incredibly fair and impeccable service. After my last vehicle was totaled, I am now looking for a new(used) car. I have repeatedly gone to Nate for advice and to inspect the various cars I'm looking at....all free of charge and with a smile! These folks are so helpful and I would trust them with my first born. This place is a gem atop Queen Anne hill. I cannot imagine going anywhere else EVER.

These guys are fantastic. I moved across town but will continue to go back to them. They don't rip you off and are very honest. If you feel there is still an issue after they have worked on your vehicle, you can go right back in (no appointment necessary) and they will prioritize looking at your car. And on top of it all - the guys are super friendly!

I got my oil changed here about 2 weeks ago & wish I had found them sooner! If a business is judged upon the character of whom they employ, Marqueen Garage should be awarded #1. Many thanks to Dianne & Nick. I will absolutely be returning!!!

I recently went to Marqueen garage to have my car checked out. I was concerned because my car was making clunking noises and the brakes were squeeking pretty badly. I was warmly welcomed by a nice lady who asked me what the issue was and made me an appointment for the next day. The next day, I was welcomed by Nate, one of the mechanics there who was super nice and said he would take a look at my car and call me when they have the results. Less than an hour later, I was called to come in and given a printout of suggestions that can be done to help the clunking sound which ended up being a broken catalytic converter which was no emergency to fix at this point.Apparently,the brakes were ok too. I was very grateful for their honesty since I have had my fair share of mechanics fixing things that were not necessary and charging me an arm and a leg.I was very thankful for their honesty and definately will take my car back in the short future since my car is not in top shape.

I have never ever bothered to write a review about anything online, but this place is truly a fantastic place to bring your vehicle for repairs. Always super friendly and easy going, they seem to always be able to take a look at my car the same day I bring it in (without an appointment!) and make the whole experience hassle free,But MOST importantly, they take care of me. It seems they are always looking out for my best interest and not their own bottom line. I have had a really problematic V W Beetle with an itchy check engine light and a nervous wife who needs everything to look and run perfect, so I have been in to see them at least a dozen times in the last 12 months. Each time they give me an honest appraisal of what is wrong and whether it really needs to be fixed or not. They have never repaired anything that wasn't absolutely necessary and have even caught loads of extra little problems that they fixed for free since they were easy and didn't need parts!! I don't know any mechanic except for a close friend or relative that would do that for their customers...it's like stepping back into the 1950's when people really cared about the job that they did.I would have my car towed from nearly anywhere in Washington state to have it repaired here and am really thankful to have discovered them!!PS: Just read the two bad reviews on here (one from when it was owned by a previous owner) and wanted to comment: No one gets it perfect every single time and these guys are so busy that sometimes they are not extremely pro-active about notifiying me when parts arrive. But everytime there has been a problem after they fixed the car (usually something new that was contributing to the main problem), they have always taken it right back in and sorted everything out. When this happens they don't even charge me labor, just parts. To me it's not that there are never ever any problems or mistakes, it's how they handle them when there are.I also noticed that in both bad reviews the customer had to take a day off or rent a replacement car and I can completely understand how that might make any problem seem that much worse.

I have used there guys for the past two years are they have been really amazing. They do great work and have been really honest and have saved me tons of money. Prices are reasonable and they even gave me a payment plan after one of my big repairs when I couldn't it all at once....not to mention the two main mechanics are pretty easy on the eyes as well. Nothing like some eye candy when getting my car fixed. (there ya go Nate, you told me to recommend you guys so...I did)

Old school, honest folk....

Marqueen Garage fixed the heater in my van, and they fixed a friends car. I will go back when more repairs are needed. In the past I've done my own auto repair but not anymore for the important stuff. It's nice to have a connection with a reliable auto repair shop because when you need them, you need them! They aren't super expensive nor are they cheap, but they get the job done and they are nice people.
